With the beginning of the year 2012 the (older) Acquiris FFTS is no longer available. It was replaced with a state-of-the-art XFFTS spectrometer, providing 32k spectral channels over 100, 500, or 2000 MHz instantaneous bandwidth.
Furthermore it is now possible to level the gain via software (please ask the operators or Effelsberg staff for more information during your observations).
